Probably the best Tijuana style carne asada tacos in LA. I’ve had tacos in Baja as well as mainland Mexico and will say these are legit. Most importantly, they cook their carne asada over mesquite; as well as make handmade tortillas, and fiery salsas. You’ll know your in the parking lot when you see the thick smoke and smell the food. I’ve been coming here for a while and the quality is consistent, and the prices are right.

Tried their Cabeza, Asada, and Pastor. Asada had a huge amount of flavour, but the Cabeza was EXTREMELY tender. Super soft to bite into. Not to mention, the tortillas were handmade on the spot. Everything was fresh from start to finish. Only setback was that each taco was $2.25 ???? even if I went just for the Cabeza tacos, I’m not sure if I’d pay that… 9/10

This place takes you back to Tj, I remember going when I was a kid and ordering tacos and paying for them at the end. Tacos are cooked with wood, not sure exactly the terms, but you get that smokey delicious taste on the meat. Parking is a little crazy but none the less this place is a must try. Freshly made tortillas for the tacos, quesadillas, mulitas, and the tostadas.

Talk about a far different experience. CASH ONLY - come hungry! I did a mix of tacos, vampiro's, and a quesadilla paired with a large horchata. The tortillas were all handmade, and giving it that much more authenticity. Though the beef was great, I think the salsa's paired far better with the chorizo. The guacamole gives it such a delightful taste. Hands down though, my favorite was the vampiro's, the cruch, the texture, the flavor! The horchata was refreshing! Would recommend over and over again.

Came here on 4/20 after a weed event because nothings better than tacos after getting stoned. This place is not as advertised, it’s actually behind a car wash not a tire shop. Name inaccuracies notwithstanding, this place is a gem. The chorizo is especially tasty, and the mulitas are grande sized and worth a try if you’ve never had them before.

Delicious tacos the mulitas are fire ???????????? and the quesadillas are amazing. Everything is very fresh and tortillas are hand made. The place is next to a liquor store. Highly recommend. Thank you i loved the food ???????????????????? …

Came to LA with my oldest daughter to tour the Universities in the area and ran into this California gem of a place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you come and try the authentic Mexican cuisine that is served at this location. The homemade tortillas to the appropriately prepped and cooked variety of meat they serve, this location is taste of flashbacks to the old country and how TRUE MEXICAN food should be made and served. ????

This place is as raw/authentic as it gets. Everything is being made right in front of you. For starters, the corn tortillas are fire. The pastor was a little greasy, but crispy and had good flavor. The asada was nearly perfect for me and also had good texture. I was a little underwhelmed by the avocado -- I may have expected guac flavors, but it was pretty natural and subtle. This place is cash only, so learn from my mistake. Tire shop taqueria has its fans for good reason!

Honestly these tacos are some of the most authentic tacos you can get in LA. They remind me of Tijuana style Tacos. They are never expensive and always delicious

Amazing Mexican food! Does not get more authentic!! They make the tortillas as you order, grill the carne asada as you order. Sit at a picnic table when done and enjoy!
